Sendelingsdrift Rest Camp is located just inside the main entrance to the Ai-Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park and all visitors must report to Reception before continuing into the park. For those with bookings at the other camps, Sendelingsdrift might offer the ideal overnight accommodation before driving the rugged roads inside the park or before crossing the Gariep River on the pontoon.
Rates are per night and exclude 1% community fund which will be added when booking.

The camp was built in the style of a mining camp and ten chalets offer comfortable accommodation with air conditioning. The chalets are fully equipped for self-catering .
The Twin Chalets are furnished with two single beds and accommodate two persons in each. Air-conditioning and ceiling fans ensure the comfort of guests in the hot summer months. Linen is supplied and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes. A private deck with views over the Gariep River is available at each chalet. Some units have a satellite television.
The two-bedroom chalets accommodate a maximum of four persons on the twin beds in each of the bedrooms. A private bathroom with shower, toilet and basin is available and the kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering. A satellite television is available in some of the units. Linen is provided.
Twelve rustic campsites are available and shared ablution facilities with cold showers are offered. A maximum of 6 persons and 2 vehicles are accommodated per campsite and an additional fee will be charged for more vehicles. There are no electricity or power points at De Hoop.
