Situated above the burning, red Kalahari sands and surrounded by traditional Camel thorn and Terminalia veld, the Gharagab Camp has a distinctive appearance of comfort in the wilderness. Located in the northern part of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, the camp offers a safe retreat and ample opportunity to enjoy the peacefulness of the absolute silence experienced in the bush.
Rates are per night and exclude 1% community fund which will be added when booking.

The four Log Cabins at Gharagab are built on stilts, offering breathtaking views over the waterhole. Gas is used to heat the water and solar powered lights are available. Please take note that fresh drinking water is not available at the camp and guests have to bring a sufficient amount of drinking water as well as firewood along.
A private bathroom with a shower and toilet is available and the water is heated by a gas geyser. There is a kitchenette which is equipped for self-catering purposes and barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture are provided on the deck.
Gharagab Wilderness Camp has no electricity but gas and solar energy
is provided for the comfort of guests.
Attracting adventurous visitors who enjoy driving around the park on the lookout for the protected wildlife, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park offers several trails - some of them being only accessible by 4x4-vehicles.
The Predator Interpretation Centre at Nossob Camp and the Raptor Interpretation Centre at Mata-Mata offer ample opportunity for learning about the predators and birds of prey living in the Kgalagadi and the hide at the waterhole provides opportunity for close encounters with the wild animals.
