Nossob Rest Camp is situated on the dry riverbed of the Nossob River. It is the most northern camp on the South African side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and is surrounded by tree savannah. Famous for spectacular predator sightings, Nossob also has a Predator Interpretation Centre offering guests the opportunity to learn more about the many predators found in the Kgalagadi.
Rates are per night and exclude 1% community fund which will be added when booking.

A variety of self-catering chalets and cottages as well as campsites offer accommodation at Nossob Rest Camp. Some of the River Front Chalets are located on the periphery of the camp and offer views over the waterhole and exciting animal interaction. Some of the facilities have been adapted to accommodate those who are mobility challenged. A generator provides electricity for 16 hours per day and there is no cellphone reception, giving visitors the opportunity to be completely cut from the stresses of everyday life.
The camping ground at Nossob is flat and neatly laid out between the sparse trees. Additional vehicles are charged an additional fee. Communal ablution facilities with showers, toilets and basins are supplied. Some of the campsites have electrical connection points and some don’t.
The Premium Campsites at Nossob each have a private ablution facility and kitchen with wash-up facilities. Sites will be allocated to guests on arrival and the bathrooms will be serviced before and after your stay. The facilities are for self-catering and have electrical connection points.
Each chalet has a private bathroom with a shower, hand basin and toilet. The kitchenette is equipped for basic food preparation and has utensils, a fridge and a hotplate. A pergola or veranda with barbecue facilities is available. Some of the chalets are adapted to accommodate persons with limited mobility.
The air-conditioned Family Cottages have 2 bedrooms each, which are furnished with 2 single beds or a double bed in each room. A sleeper couch in the lounge area accommodates up to 2 children, but not an adult. The private bathroom has a toilet and shower.
A lounge and DSTV with limited channels is available and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a fridge. These chalets have a view over the riverbed and the patio is equipped with barbecue facilities. Even though the River Front Chalets are air-conditioned, take note that electricity is only available every day from 05:00 to 21:30.
Nossob Rest Camp has a generator providing electricity from 05:00 to 21:30 each day. There is a shop selling basic commodities and groceries as well as a filling station. The swimming pool offers a refreshing place for relaxation and the hide at the waterhole provides ample opportunity for close-up encounters with the wildlife.
Attracting adventurous visitors who enjoy driving around the park on the lookout for the protected wildlife, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park offers several trails - some of them being only accessible by 4x4-vehicles.
The Predator Interpretation Centre at Nossob Rest Camp offers ample opportunity for learning about the predators living in the Kgalagadi and the hide at the waterhole provides opportunity for close encounters with the wild animals.
