Offering classic safari-style accommodation, the Lilydale Rest Camp is located in the northern section of the Mokala National Park, overlooking the Riet River. Shade trees as well as a swimming pool offer a relief from the hot sun during the summer months. At night, the clear skies of the Northern Cape Province offer spectacular stargazing opportunities.
Rates are per night and exclude 1% community fund which will be added when booking.

Twelve self-catering units offer accommodation at Lilydale Rest Camp.
Nine air-conditioned self-catering units with views over the Riet River are available at Lilydale Rest Camp. The bungalows have private bathrooms and kitchens which are equipped for basic food preparation.
Five of the bungalows accommodate three persons on one double bed and one single bed. Four of the bungalows are larger and are furnished with a double bed and a single bed on the ground level, and a loft with 2 single beds, suitable for children only.
The two air-conditioned chalets are furnished with a double bed and a single bed, accommodating a maximum of 3 persons. The private bathrooms have a bath, toilet and hand basin and the kitchens are equipped for basic food preparation.
Cutlery, crockery and cookware is provided and there is a counter with a dining area and chairs. Each chalet has a balcony with picnic furniture.
Built in a living tree, the Kameeldoring Tree Top Cottage offers a unique experience of sleeping between the birds. A maximum of 2 persons can be accommodated on the double bed and basic food preparation facilities as well as a gas fridge/freezer are provided. A gas geyser provides hot water for the shower and a toilet is available. Barbecue facilities are provided.
The facilities at Lilydale Rest Camp are basic, but sufficient for relaxing
under the stars and enjoying the breathtaking African sunsets.
The Interpretation Centre offers informative tours for those interested in the history as well as biodiversity of Mokala National Park. Interesting artefacts and rock engravings are on display. Conference facilities are available at both Mosu Lodge and the Mofele Lodge.
Unfortunately there are no more restaurant facilities available in Mokala,
but guests can enjoy a picnic at any of the variety of picnic sites available.
Banks, filling stations and medical services are available in Kimberley,
which is just less than 90 km from Mokala.
Attracting families as well as travellers between Gauteng and the Western Cape, Mokala is centrally located at the transition of the Nama Karoo and Kalahari Biomes.
A variety of game drives and historical excursions are offered. Groups are invited to the Interpretation Centre to learn more about the history, geography and biology of Mokala and the Conference Centres offer modern facilities.
