Tankwa Karoo Rest Camp

Tankwa Karoo National Park is located in a Karoo veld basin, bordered by the Cederberg mountain range to the west, the Roggeveld Escarpment to the east, and the Klein Roggeveld Mountains to the south. Known for its clear, star-filled skies and rare plant life, it offers a unique destination for nature enthusiasts and admirers of arid landscapes.

The park is also renowned for its exceptional birdlife, making it a popular stop for birdwatchers. With 174 bird species recorded, including 18 endemics, it is a prime location for birding enthusiasts.
