The Strandveld and Fynbos of the West Coast National Park includes a wide range of plants, of which many are endemic to the region. The combination of lagoon, beach, wetlands and veld is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, birders and nature-lovers. Not only is there a variety of exciting activities to participate in, but the spectacular display of wildflowers in the springtime as well as over 250 different bird species annually visiting the park, creates ample opportunities for exploring, discovering and relaxing.
Rates are per night and exclude 1% community fund which will be added when booking.

Situated near the Abrahamskraal waterhole, this self-catering cottage offers accommodation for up to 6 persons. There are two bedrooms, one of which is furnished with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. Two more single sleeper couches are available. Two bathrooms are available and hot water is provided by a gas geyser.
An open plan living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen is
available. Electricity is provided by solar energy and the fridge/freezer
and stove are gas operated. There are no plug points for electric
equipment. There is a fireplace in the living area which can also
be used as a barbecue facility.
The Steytler Cottage has been renovated recently and provides cosy accommodation for two persons. It is located near the Geelbek stables. There is a double bed in the bedroom and the bathroom has a shower and toilet. A sleeper couch is available in the open plan dining room and kitchen and there is a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and cutlery and crockery is provided. Electricity is available.
Situated at the Geelbek stables, the Van Breda Cottage has been renovated recently and accommodates up to 6 persons. There are 3 bedrooms of which the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the other 2 with 2 single beds each. There is one private bathroom with a shower and toilet and the cottage is fully equipped and has electricity. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge and microwave. Barbecue facilities are available on the veranda.
Located near Churchhaven and within walking distance from the lagoon, this exclusive self-catering cottage accommodates up to 6 persons. There are 3 bedrooms of which one is furnished with a double bed and the other two are furnished with 2 single beds each. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The open plan living area and kitchen is furnished with lounge chairs, a table and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a gas stove and fridge. Cutlery, crockery and cookware is provided. Outdoor barbecue facilities are available on the veranda.
Renovated and adapted to accommodate 4 guests, this 2-bedroom cottage is located within walking distance from the lagoon. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. The private bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin and a gas geyser provides hot water. There is an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and cookware and has a fridge. Barbecue facilities are available on the veranda.
Offering the ideal retreat for bird- and nature lovers, the Duinepos Chalets are located in the West Coast National Park. Eleven self-catering chalets are available, accommodating 4 to 6 persons in each. There are no televisions and mobile reception is limited, which ensures that guests can fully relax in the beautiful natural surroundings. The 2-bedroom units have a lounge, fireplace and open plan kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and outdoor barbecue facilities are provided. There is also a swimming pool and communal boma and barbecue facilities available. Two of the Duinepos chalets can accommodate those with mobility challenges.
Offering a unique experience, the houseboats at Kraalbaai are permanently moored on the Langebaan Lagoon in the area close to the Preekstoel. Breathtaking views over the lagoon can be enjoyed all through the day and night. A variety of houseboats with different configurations are available:

A few amenities are available inside the West Coast National Park, but
because the park is located 5 km from Langebaan and close to numerous
towns and villages, most facilities are available at these towns.
Attracting visitors from all walks of life, including those enjoying water sports, cycling, hikes and walks. Offering a haven for a wide variety of birds, birdwatchers especially enjoy visiting the hide-outs to get up close to the birds. Proof of life dating back to 117 000 years ago, can be seen at Eve’s Footprints. Both day visitors and overnight visitors are welcomed at the West Coast National Park.
